The GNUish Project

The GNUish Project contains ports of Unix-like utilities to small systems running OS/2 or DOS. Although the collection contains some 32bit programs (GNU awk is an example), the primary focus was on 16bit ports.

For the most part, DOS or Windows users with a 386-or-better are advised to examine the DJGPP collection or cygwin, and users of OS/2 (v2 or newer) should look to LEO.

The GNUish collection is hosted by ibiblio. Thanks to Jim Hall.
